Governor's School (Engineering/Technology) Response- In all learning aspects of my life, I live by the principle that the exchange of knowledge insinuates a mutual growth. As people assist each other in developing personal experiences, they both growth in the expansion of perspective. That is precisely the reason why I would like to attend the Governor’s School of Engineering and Technology.
All of the experience I have attained at The Ohio State University and as an Electrician’s Mate has given me the skills and knowledge to thrive in an Electrical Engineering program and the Civil Engineer
In high school, I was a member of the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) magnet program. I completed the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) pathway and took a wide variety of engineering classes. I also got experience job shadowing’s and explore different activities that prepared me for my future career with activities such as mock interviews and resume writing. During my junior summer in high school, I got the opportunity to intern at a small engineering firm (Infrared Tools LLC) and work side by side with the engineers there getting hands on experience. This past semester I’ve been a student at Virginia Tech as a member of the Corps of Cadets and enrolled in Air Force ROTC.
I am dedicated, persistent, trustworthy, blunt, and honest as can be. I not only attend high school, but attend Cowley County Community College (CCCC). I attend Cowley to further my knowledge in automotive so that I can be prepared for a job. I am fascinated by the automotive industry and hope to concentrate on diesel technology as well as performance automotive. Working on cars is my biggest hobby, both money and time wise.
According to the World Report Best Global Universities 2017, the university of Waterloo is ranked first in Canada for engineering. I believe that by pursuing a degree in Mechatronic engineering at Waterloo would not only provide me with the education required to succeed, but also enable me to obtain my goals of entering the workforce after university. Waterloo’s extensive cooperative education program would provide me with the crucial experience required in order to succeed in the workforce. Mechatronic engineers serve as a pivotal position in today’s society as currently, an abundance of products are mechanical in nature, but could not function without an integral computer controlling system. It is my ambition to one day be able to accept
I have recently completed my master degree in business and health management from Davenport University. I decided to explore my opportunity and to apply what I have learned to real world. My first step is to establish my own distributing company in Sweden. I thought about distributing sleep apnea devices, and perform sleep studies. During my Doctorate program I was involved in sleep medicine, and I have invented my own sleep apnea device, and it is ready to be marketed it.
Despite the numerous engineering programs within the United States, the University of Kentucky College of Engineering remains unique and desirable. Firstly, the University of Kentucky’s academic programs are nationally recognized, a recognition several institutions desire. Faculty members within this prestigious institution provide extensive curricular lessons, allowing me to engage with future worldly respected engineering and corporate firms. As a result, I could participate in important projects that define America’s cultural customs and acceptances. In addition, my goal in protecting innocent lives from treacherous disasters would become real.
Driving stick is a dying art. Most cars today have an automatic transmission. The few cars that have manual transmissions today are utility vehicles, vintage or older cars, and many high performance cars. Very few manufacturers make new manual cars, however some still do. Once these companies stop making manuals, older cars are gone, and the high performance cars and utility vehicles switch to automatic transmissions, Manual will be gone altogether.
The Engineering Management program at ST.Cloud state University aligns perfectly with my academic and career goals. I am particularly attracted to the program's comprehensive curriculum, which offers a holistic approach to engineering management, encompassing areas such as project management, operations research, financial analysis, and innovation management. Moreover, I am drawn to the exceptional faculty at ST.Cloud state University, renowned for their expertise and contributions to the field. The opportunity to learn from their wealth of knowledge and engage in cutting-edge research and industry partnerships greatly excites me.
Attending the Governor’s School of Engineering and Technology is an enormous dream of mine because I believe that it would give me the skills and mindset necessary to succeed as a future engineer. By taking the Governor’s School of Engineering’s prestigious courses and being mentored by incredible professors I would be able to gain knowledge about various subjects in engineering and technology such as robotics and physics. One of the most attractive points about the GSET is the way it utilizes engineering and technology education in order to fuel students’ ability to solve problems in the real world. I have always had an intense interest in how the STEM fields can be used to create solutions that help mankind, which has even resulted in me starting an independent research project about turning algae into biofuel. I
I grew to love technology throughout my childhood and wanted to acquire more knowledge. Once thirteen years old, everyone from teachers, parents, siblings, and strangers informed me that I could not major in anything engineering. I was discouraged from pursuing such a tough field because men outnumber women in engineering more than five to one. During my adolescent years, I began
To some, the University of Chicago may seem like just another college with the iconic speech about how you can make a club to match your interests, or how great the food is. However, once you go beneath the surface it is impossible to underestimate the educational and intellectual benefits as well as the community and possibilities which stem from UChicago. I first learned about the University of Chicago at the beginning of my junior year when I inquired for a list of suitable schools from my principal. After researching the University of Chicago, it became my first choice, I even have a poster on my bedroom wall! I became excited about the opportunities the chemistry department offers as well as the idea of the Common Core, the joining of an intellectually motivated community and the ability to make a difference as many other UChicago alumni have.
You will be charged with driving under the influence if your blood alcohol content is above the legal limit or if you are under the influence of drugs (prescription or illegal drugs) to such a degree that you are impaired. Since I was in my childhood I have high curiosity on how and why things work. I have this unsatisfied feeling until I know why and how it 's happening. My dad always told me the same about me. I still remember how I spend the whole day looking for what make the pedestal fan to swing and I opened up its cover to see the motor and gear rotating and for me it 's fascinating. He used to bring me along with him in his nearest four wheel drive park where he taught me many things about four wheel vehicles.
For all of my life, I have had a skill and a great interest in the design and construction of a variety of objects and machinery. I have known since day one that all i wanted to do is design brand new and innovative technology. I have chosen Waterloo as my first choice of education for my future career as a mechanical engineer for many reasons. One being the schools amazing reputation as a school of applied sciences, having been given the nickname “MIT of the north” by many. I know a few people who have attended this University.
