Jack has changed greatly, over the course of William Golding’s novel, Lord of the Flies. Crashing onto an island without adults and having to survive put a strain on all of the boys, but Jack’s personality altered the most due to this experience. He went from living as an ambitious choir boy, to being a vicious, brutal, beast. Many things changed Jack on the island, but most of all, he created the monster he became.

He had many iterests throughout his life time. Some of those are cartography, history, writing, botany, astronomy, geology, anatomy, literature, engineering, mathematics, music, science, architecture, sculpting, painting, and inventing. He’s also known for the inventions of the parachute, helicopter, and tank.

His creations were the base to many products of modern life, making him have the recognition of being “The Renaissance Man” Something that really sets him apart from others and greatly impacted his inventions, was his intelligence.

From the beginning, when I was figuring out what would be my focus for the next few months, Leonardo da Vinci fascinated me. As an aspiring artist, I have always admired his creative mind and all he did. He discovered and created many amazing things, and things that have helped us in our modern world. For example, he drew the first model of the helicopter, because did not believe that it was impossible for man to fly. I was impressed that he was able to change the way people looked at the world.
“The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding.” - Leonardo Da Vinci. Da Vinci never stopped his quest to understand the makings of the world and attempting to improving upon them. Many refer to him as The Renaissance Man which, as defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, means: “A person who has wide interests and is expert in several areas.” Da Vinci was the epitome of this term having had great contributions the many areas including: anatomy, art, architecture, botany, mathematics, natural history, ornithology, optics and to where he made the largest and most impacting contributions: aerodynamics and engineering. Leonardo Da Vinci was a true Renaissance Man due to his expertise in a plethora of subjects.
Leonardo da Vinci was a talented scientist, inventor, painter of the Renaissance europe. Modern scholars referred to him as "the most perfect representative of the Renaissance", is unique in the history of mankind all rounder, his greatest achievement is his masterpiece of painting, "Monalisa", "the last supper", "virgin of the rocks" and other works, reflects his superb artistic attainments. He believes that the most beautiful object of nature is the human body, the human body is a wonderful work of nature, painters should be the core of the object of painting. He is a deep thinking, knowledgeable, versatile painter, astronomer, inventor, engineer.
