In this weeks article “What Do We Know from Brain Research?” the following quote caught my attention. “The brain gobbles up the external environment through its sensory system and then reassembles the digested world in the form of trillions of connections which are constantly growing or dying, becoming stronger or weaker depending on the richness of the banquet.”

I choose this quote because I feel children come from so many different back grounds and are raised differently from one another some people believe Education is very important and try to help educate their children and some feel school is merely a place for free child care. I feel it's very important to have a classroom environment that grabs the attention of all the students and makes them excited for new experiences that will help them gain knowledge. …show more content…

Some people feel today that due to the testing in the school that children are being taught to test not being taught to gain knowledge, do you feel the testing in the schools hinders the learning that could help push the students brain to gain information?
