What does bullying actually mean? Some people can actually have various opinions. Some people don’t even notice if they are bullying. Bullying can affect kids mentally and physically. Bullying is a problem in schools. First, bullying can hurt the victim. For example, bullying causes kids to have low self-esteem. Kids can think that they’re nothing. They can feel like a little ant and kids are stomping on them. Depression can lead to all the negative comments in their head and they don’t talk to somebody. They become quiet and don’t say anything. Also, fighting can physically hurt the victim. The bully can punch the victim, can cause bruises, and black eyes. Kids can watch the victim and they don’t help them. Finally, bullying can lead to suicide. Lots of kids think they shouldn’t be here and decide to end their life. They can be leaving their life behind and forget the people that love them. Depression can lead to suicide. Kids can get caught, don’t do it, or be sent to the hospital. For instance, bullies tend to be unknown online. Bullies have an easier target by using a fake account on social media. A group of bullies can share an account and attack the victim. Bullies can say awful comments and the victim may not know who they are. Next, texting give bullies more confidence to say cruel things. Bullies can use unknown numbers to text the victim. Bullies can delete messages without getting caught. Texting tends to be unknown and harsh, just like social media. Now, bullying doesn’t happen in the sight of adults.
