It states clearly in the bible followed with simplicity having an explanation of its symbolic representation that this generation is of the worse in this society and that we will be dealing with series situations like: Witch-craft, Homosexuality, Adulterers, Haters, Liars, False accusers, Hypocrites and all the wicked things you could ever imagine and that’s why people disagree of what’s been said because it’s the truth. We can see it happening everywhere and it has come to reality. Some people fail to realise why? And then they question why life has to be so harsh towards them, why it has to be this way? We see people around us, how they portray themselves their actions, with homosexuality its wrong with a sudden act they react if someone stated something they disliked and get offended with what’s been said then you see their true colours, some encourage it homosexual to still continue even when they know it’s wrong and then others disagree.
There is discrimination in this world to this day, there is discriminations against “people who are gay”. This discrimination is just like the Holocaust, because the Germans didn’t like the jews. I believe the gay marriage should have been approved long before it was. People need to realize judging someone because they are gay is wrong, that person is obviously an idiot. It is not up to people to judge other people because they are gay.
Preston Sprinkle goes into great detail on this issue in his book “Born this Way.” In defining the subject Sprinkle takes time to remind us that the sin occurs when someone acts out upon their lusts or entertains their lusts in their mind. Having certain feelings doesn’t make one guilty. How we entertain those thoughts does? This is certainly true outside of the homosexual debate.
The first half of the novel is about Peterson’s theory that the sin of Sodom is regarding the people’s homosexuality. Chapter one discredits the common myths and theories behind the different interpretations of homosexuality within the Bible. Some biblical scholars avoid and belittle the seriousness of the matter due to their experience with some sort of close friend or family member that has struggled with homosexuality. In these cases, scholars create a gray area about whether or not God actually condemns same-sex relationships and marriages (pg. 2). Peterson even refutes ideas concerning the frequency of homosexuality in the Bible and how some scholars conclude that it directly links to importance.
I am against the idea od gay marriage. When going against gay rights, most people bring up topics on thing like children, civil rights, and the major topic, Religion. I do agree that gay marriage does have an affect on a child, it denies them either a father or a mother, and when it comes to religion, I guess it questions how much faith you have in your religion. But the thing with society is that they have to get their point straight. We live in today’s society, which looks down on abortion, but then at the same time, treat teenage parents as failures.

Christianity is scripturally locked into the concept that God views homosexuality as an abomination. There are many verses in both the Old and New Testament confirming this point. If the churches accept homosexuality as an authentic alternative lifestyle, it would be an admission that the scriptures are wrong. However, to hold fast on this issue will further alienate the growing tide of people, most notably the young, who view it as a matter of equality.
