Poverty is a big and important problem of our days. It increases every year in the entire world. There are many countries and international organizations working and creating new solutions to solve this issue, but it is very complicated to dissolve it completely from our world. There are many reasons for this problem to continue affecting all the countries in the world. Before we began to talk about these causes, first let's define what poverty means. The people most vulnerable are emigrants but they can have all their needs: food, home, job, medical service, education, and technology. This kind of poverty is very different from Central America and South America. In Central America and South America the poverty is caused by social and economic inequality, unemployment, lack of education, corruption and violence. Many people can’t have all their needs: food, water, home, education, medical service, income, and a job to survive. Children are hungry and most of them are malnutrition. Because of the famine and economic crisis causes many diseases. Also the climate affects the population of their countries, in which floods and draughts are stronger every year affecting the most vulnerable population. The most common measure of poverty in the U.S is the “poverty threshold” set by the U.S government. This measure recognizes poverty as a lack of those goods and services commonly taken for granted by members of common society.
