“If you have tears, prepare to shed them now. You all do know this mantle. I remember The first time ever Caesar put it on. ’ Twas on a summer’s evening in his tent. That day he overcame the Nervii.
Some believed Caesar was power hungry and that he will do anything to become more powerful. Also that Caesar will just go through a town and just kill everything he sees to conquer the most land. However, Caesar is not a power hungry animal that will kill anybody to get higher and more powerful. Caesar has conquered lots and lots of land but he is not an animal, he doesn’t go through and kill everything he sees. Caesar was a great man who died a hero.
The external conflict in the end was that he was murdered from the fear that he was going to be too powerful. If he wasn’t like this than he would have still been alive. This shows Caesar to be a tragic hero because he is noble and loved by Romans, but his flaw held him back from going farther because he was
These two quotes show how Rome, before Caesar came back, was already doomed. The first quote states that Pompey was depending on civilians who weren't even qualified, to fight against a strong army led by caesar. This shows how bad of a commander
Caesar’s military accomplishments played a vital role in restoring Rome. The various endeavours Caesar undertook as a military commander during the 58 – 50 BC Gallic wars benefitted Rome immensely, as Caesar subdued Gaul, made leeway in previously uncharted Britain, (source 5) established loyalties and increased the state of finances. Plutarch, a Greek-born Roman historian, praises “Caesars achievements [which] surpass [that of the greatest generals]” (source 5). Despite a one century detachment from events and pro-imperial nature (unseen), Plutarch offers a fairly reliable viewpoint. It could be inferred Caesar would have been unable to strengthen and expand Rome without such military capabilities.
Therefore, it can be interpreted that it was not Sulla’s march on Rome that sealed that fate of Roman Republic, but it was Caesar’s march and his subsequent
He was also was a very bad man. He would kill all people that would disagree with him, was a terrible leader, and weak. He was a terrible leader because he was not going to go to the traditional race at the festival of Lupercal. The only reason he was not going to go is because a soothsayer told him to beware the ides of March, March fifteenth to be specific. Julius Caesar is a man that the conspirators would consider a bad man.
Along with his army he ended up defeating a large force at the Thames river and ended up capturing king Cassivelaunus. Along with the decrease in his firm political power base, the alliance between Pompey and himself was weakening as well. Crassus was defeated and died in battle against the Parthions. Caesar had decided to attack Alesia but Gauls had arrived to aid them against the fight with the Romans. The Romans and Caesar had given Gauls an unexpected attack, which caused them to flee.
One of the main reasons as to why he won the battle is because Brutus let words get the best of him. Antony is smart in a way that shows he can manipulate his words for his own benefit. Antony did not see Brutus’s suicide coming, but fortunately his death convenienced Antony immensely, earning him victory. To start this off, he mocks Brutus by saying, “In your bad strokes, Brutus, you give good words. Witness the hole you made in Caesar’s heart, Crying ‘Long live, hail, Caesar!’”
This should not have happened to Julius Caesar after all he did for Rome and its
Or also for some it was beneficial to them selves if Caesar was dead. They could now have higher power over Rome. It was the right chose for

Every year, couples are growing their families. Whether they are having children or adopting them, taking care of these new additions can be stressful, especially when they get sick. Balancing all of the stressors in life can make one incredibly stressed, especially when one is expected to rarely miss work. In 1993, Congress passed the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
The Romans didn’t have much command over the province, but they did have some connections to the further side of the border. Caesar speedily took benefit of these connections to extend the boundaries of Rome beyond the borders of Gaul. Caesar decided to invade Britain, whose tribes seemed to have close relations with Gaul. These expeditions were well-celebrated by the Romans as for the first time Rome had expanded so far. However, Vercingetorix, a noble tribesman of Gaul, with his men, surprisingly rose against Caesar, threatening his power in Gaul.
Caesar’s scornful behavior towards the soothsayer illustrates his arrogance. Later, in Act 2, Calpurnia pleads Caesar to stay home because she realizes that all the omens are pointing to Caesar’s death. Despite her plea, Caesar insists “Caesar shall forth: the things that threaten’d me ne’er look’d but on my back; when they shall see the face of Caesar, they are vanished” (2.2.15-17). These incidents show that Caesar’s pride blinds his ability to see his tragic end. Moreover, Caesar ignores his own feeling of uneasiness towards Cassius for the sake of his pride.
An issue plaguing India today is the rising rate of crimes against women. In 2015, the number of recorded rape cases stood at 34, 615- a decline compared to the 36,735 cases recorded in 2014 (Venkat, 2017, para. 4). Clearly, our country lacks a supportive social environment and healthy attitude between the genders, which would prevent these crimes in the first place. To achieve this, practices that promote gender equality must be adopted right at the primary school level, to help children imbibe it in their crucial, formative years. This must be holistic and include dimensions which positively impact children individually, and their interpersonal interactions.
