When most people think of great U.S. presidents the first to come to mind is usually Theodore Roosevelt. He was remembered as knowledgeable, honest, strict, and unwavering in his policies. Most important in the minds of most people is the time when Roosevelt divided substantial monopolies into minor separate companies. Unfortunately, not everything that Roosevelt achieved reached its goal. The opposite can be said of Woodrow Wilson who has been seen as one of the worst presidents, especially by people like Ben Shapiro.
James Monroe vs John Adams James Monroe was the most effective president. This president was a good choice for the United States at the time of his presidency because he created the Monroe Doctrine and stopped European countries from getting land from South and North America. He also got Florida and got more land to build America. His reasoning for buying Florida and creating the Monroe Doctrine is because of how Spain and other European countries wanted to take over more land from the United States. Monroe was worried about this, so he brought Florida and made the Monroe Doctrine to make sure other countries like Spain can’t get more land for both South and North America.
In my opinion, I think John F. Kennedy was the best president that has been in office, even if he was only in it for a little more than 3 years. He came from a wealthy catholic family from Massachusetts, and came into office in 1960. One of the first things he did was strengthen the economy and created the New Deal strategy of deficit spending, first implemented during Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. He also convinced Congress to increase the minimum hourly wage to $1.25, and provided more than $400 million in aid distressed areas under the Area Redevelopment Act.
William H. Taft was one of the best presidents because of his great leadership towards developing America. He served as the 27th president of the United States from 1909 to 1913 and as the tenth Chief of Justice as well. He was not the most popular president but he did do some amazing things to benefit our country as a whole. William H. Taft was the best president because he created jobs for millions of people with the start of the railroads. He built a way of communication across the country with the foundation of the postal service, and finally he showed his financial support to the military, schools, cities, and millions of people with the creation of taxes.
George Washington was a great leader. He had shown his leadership skills in many ways throughout his life, but mainly when he stepped into the role of president. In my opinion, George Washington was the best president the United States of America has ever had because he was the first president. He stepped into a completely new role in a new government system, set precedents for the role, and led our country diplomatically. While Washington was not perfect, as no human being is, he was a great president and proved so in his eight years in office.
The best presidents are ones with some style. All accomplishments and achievements to the side, a president should be memorable. Nobody does that better than Teddy Roosevelt. Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt is the best President to ever serve the United States of America because of his accomplishments in both his professional life and his personal life, along with his larger than life personality, and also because the American people loved him.
Out of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, Abe was the best president. He helped our economy, he helped end slavery, and he was one of the greatest heroes to ever live. He made the U.S a better place to be. So out of the two presidents Abraham was the best. First things first, he helped the U.S end slavery.
The American's presidency tradition has carried onto this very day. Our country had had many great presidents who did great things for our countries. But there is one who started it all. He was the first president of the United States, and also known as the "Father of the Nation". George Washington is indeed one of the best presidents our country has ever had.
In America we have had many presidents, they have done their job to get America this far. I would have to say that president Ronald Reagan would be my choice in who I think was the best President. I know I wasn 't alive when he was president but if I could I would like to live that time period. President Ronald Reagan was the 40th president. When president Reagan was elected on November 4, 1980 he was the oldest man ever elected at the age of 69.
This impact on our country sought out the world’s greatest president was in fact Abraham Lincoln. He accomplished and was successful in many aspects while creating a better life that we all live today. Paludan was correct in arguing that he was the best by what he actually completed. While Bradford argued against why he wasn’t the best, and reasons that the Civil War took place. The war opened many opportunities for generations and future presidents to be voted into office.
The best US President, in my eyes, was George Washington. He was a strong character who had to overcome many things in his life. One of the greatest things he had to overcome was unknown to many people. George Washington suffered many illnesses such as: Diphtheria, tuberculosis, smallpox, dysentery, malaria, tonsillitis, carbuncle, pneumonia, and epiglottitis. Regardless of his disease, George Washington was always doing things for other people.

Over hundreds of years America has had many presidents, some able to complete the tasks at hand, but many were not worthy of leading this nation. President Abraham Lincoln was one of the few who led the United States of America with great strength and courage. He was victorious over the British and quickly became a hero doing so. He helped draft the constitution and with his leadership and courage. To me the greatestness president of all time would be Franklin Roosevelt besides being the best and everyone seeing him as a inspiration. But first, before I say why he is the best I will explain what greatestness means to me. Then explain how my president that I choose has all the qualifications to be the greatest of all time. To me greatestness means someone who is better than everyone at what they do and no one can tell them how to do their job because they are that good at it the person tells others how to do their job. This person is number one, not two they are number one and they are remembered for that anything that this person did to become number one and things they did when they were number one they are remembered for that and will
