Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy play by Shakespeare, following the story of two star-crossed lovers who discover their endless love for each other. Unfortunately, their discovery is short lived once they find out they’re from different families, Montague and Capulet, both having an old grudge over one another. This led to a heartbreaking story that led to Romeo and Juliet taking their own lives, but a question remains unanswered. Who is to blame for their deaths? Now let's take a closer look, I looked through all of the story and saw all potential outcomes and they all pointed to a specific person in the story. Well, firstly let’s take a look at what happened after Tybalt was killed by Romeo. The demise of Tybalt, followed by Mercutio’s death, Romeo’s closest friend’s at the hands of Tybalt, led to Romeo’s exile. This would lead to Romeo hiding out in another kingdom, and when finding out about Juliet's fake death, he took his own life only to find out right after that Juliet was not dead. This evidence clearly proves that if Tybalt had not fought Mercutio and his troops, then Mercutio would have never died, which wouldn’t lead to Romeo killing Tybalt out of revenge. Act 3: Now, what about Juliet’s demise? Secondly, I believe Tybalt also played a part in Juliet’s death. There is evidence to support my claim.
