The organization became so powerful claiming to have 3.5 million supporters and had 20 million signechers, wanting the plan to be passed.

To start off the owner and founder of the company and theme parks, Walt Disney was born the fourth of five children to a poor family who owned a farm in Marceline, Missouri (Nix). It was in this small town that he was encouraged to pursue his interest in drawing from his aunt and his neighbor. But due to his family’s poverty his father had to sell the farm and relocated the family to Kansas City (Nix). Due to several circumstances Walt’s father sold his newspaper route in Kansas and moved to Chicago to work in a jelly and fruit juice company. It is here that Walt dropped out of high school at age 16 because he drew constantly and did not pay attention in class.

Walt Disney is an inspiration to me because went through a very difficult life. He didn’t have a lot of money and he had a short temper yet he kept going for his dreams. He lost his ideas, money, loved ones, and so much more but he didn’t let his imagination terminate. Disney proves to me that if you keep trying, anything is possible like one of his quotes say “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Although he started off small, he ended up being very successful and one of the most remembered people worldwide which encourages me to keep trying as well.
I was born on August 30th, 2002 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gregory and Merri Johnson. This impacted not only myself, but my parents and close family members around me.
