Our 8th article discusses the experience that companies offer to employees and quite literally what it is like to work for a company. A person who is happy and excited to work for a company and be in the company itself is one that will stay. The article also goes on to explain several different companies and how they achieve their own signature experience for their new hires to be prepared for their new careers. Having a company culture and environment that is unique is one thing the article stresses. Basically having a employee go through an exceptional signature experience that the company can only offer to their own employees is a very powerful way to let your employees know that they are in a special place. Whole Foods Market shows off the first signature tactic, team based hiring, basically gives the power to each department with whether or not a new hire can join their time while Trilogy Software comes in second, featuring the trial under fire, makes new hires go through an intense immersion regiment filled with projects to be worked on with other employees or by themselves as the new hire is overseen by the company’s CEO him/her self. The last signature experience told, extensive training and indoctrination in a proven approach, is done by The Container Store. This process is filled with the employee being able to satisfy the needs of the customer, put out recommendations that fulfill those needs, and commit to the quality that the company guarantees to said customer.
