Romeo and Juliet In “ Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, there are two main characters: Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. These two people supposably fell in love at first sight. There are many killings in this play, and they are all blamed on Romeo. He did kill two people with his hands. The rest he killed emotionally. Causing them to kill themselves because of all the pain coming from the emotions. This paper is written to explain how Romeo is the cause of all the deaths. Later on Romeo and Juliet find out that they are sworn enemies. So, they continue their love secretly, until things become complicated, making suicide a choice. Their deaths were their own fault. They could’ve changed their miserable ending into a happily ever after, but instead decide to keep their love secret. Romeo and Juliet did not have to keep their love a secret. They could have told their parents about their matrimony. Then, Juliet's parents would have canceled her wedding to Paris seeing that she was already married. If this occurred, then Juliet wouldn’t have taken the potion, and her death would’ve been prevented, along with Romeo's death. This would’ve also prevented the way her father wondered.
