The leaders of the rebellion that led to Animal Farm having its freedom were the pigs. Over the time of their rule, the pigs changed their acts and changed laws and made Squealer lie about all of it. The pigs used manipulation on simpler animals, acted like humans and modified decrees to gain control of Animal Farm. In order to take control of Animal Farm, the pigs developed like humans. The human activity included, pigs giving up their friend Boxer in order to have some alcohol. The pigs slept in beds, although they claimed that it was alright for themselves.
