In simple terms, fast food is food that is prepared quickly and served, often at a chain of restaurants, and usually is known to be less nutritious and less expensive. While fast food is always a go-to on a road trip, it's also to blame for America being the 10th most obese country in the world. About 42% of Americans are obese.
