Ever since I was a little boy, I was heavily exposed in the business market. I used to watch my father work tirelessly hard in order to make his business more successful. As I got older, I found other interests that weren’t business related. At the end of my freshman year at North Hennepin Community College, I knew that I had to choose a major that would fit me best; in order for me to find a career that I can enjoy doing for the rest of my life. One day it dawned on me that I should focus in on a major in business. In the beginning of my sophomore year of college, as my search for finding the right school for myself began, I stumbled upon the major business and marketing education at the College of Education and Human Development. One of the reasons why I want to pursue a major in business and marketing education is because of the variety of job opportunities and employers that hire people with a business and marketing degree. One of the careers that I found that I could possibly obtain after graduation is being a credit analyst. I would really enjoy analyzing credit data as well as being able to warn fortune 500 companies of the different risk that are associated in credit lending. Another reason why I want to pursue a major in business and marketing education is, I want to be more knowledgeable on marketing.
