Going through high school people try to find who they are, they join many different clubs and organizations to find out what they are good at. Some people will find interest in things such as art club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Future Farmers of America(FFA) or other things such as Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). However, my interests lie in Band, Forensics, Leadership, Experience, Opportunity, and Service (LEOS), Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Some may wonder how these clubs/organizations might benefit me in the future, it is simple, every single event that I have done has either helped me build confidence in talking to new people or have helped me put my dues back into society. Band, Forensics, FCCLA and Big Brothers and Big Sisters have all taught me to interact with new people whom I have never seen before. I plan on becoming a child psychologist and everything that I have done has helped me in many ways. I want to be a child psychologist because I love to help in any way I can. I think that child psychology is the best way to do that so I can help young children before it is too late. Through all of the events that I have done, personally have learned organization, communication, dedication and a sense of who I am as an individual. These will help me in the future because you need to be organized so you do not switch people’s records, you need to have wonderful communication so you know how to handle the work environment, you need dedication because as a psychologist you need to be extremely involved to get your job
