Emotionally dragging people down one by one, war brings sweat, tears, and blood. Although soldiers do carry many physical items, each individual also carries responsibilities which are not visible, but tend to weigh one down immensely, such as the lives of men. In the novel The Things They Carried, written by Tim O’Brien, he describes the items which the soldiers carried such as “taking up what others could no longer bear. Often, they carried each other, the wounded or weak. They carried infections.
This would be beneficial in working with Monique because I like to plan and explore future possibilities while she focuses on the here and now. My reported type may be a negative because Monique may get frustrated with me because I might want to explore and analyze too much when she may already know what she wants in a career and/or career path.

Students who play college basketball should be required to graduate college before going on to the NBA because of jobs, commitment, and experience. First, if the NBA doesn't work out for athletes they are stuck without a job.
The reason I want to attend the United States Military Academy is simple: I believe the education, training and atmosphere will best prepare me to be an officer in the United States Army. The reason I want to be an active duty officer in the Army is more complex. First, since I was young, I wanted to be an officer in the military. My great grandfather was in World War One, my grandfather was in an Army infantryman in World War Two and my father proudly served in the Navy. I want to be like these men and be able to share stories with my children like my family has shared with me.
College. There are many different opinions on college, if it is really worth it or not. In my opinion, I believe that people should go to college because people that go to college and graduate have a lower unemployment rate than others who did not, college graduates get paid more, and college is a good investment of money. To begin, college graduates have a lower unemployment rate. In a graph made by the Bureau of Labor statistics it states the unemployment rate for people depending on how far they went with education.

When I look back at my high school years, I think about why I kept going and why I am at the point of completing college applications and getting ready to move onto higher education. My family has been a big part of my life, most especially in high school, and it’s not just because of my parents and their monetary support, or my grandma and her prayers and praise, or my sisters and their support, but because of the culture and community they’ve allowed me to be a part of. My parents became U.S. Citizens upon coming from the Philippines. My mom had been petitioned by her uncle, and my dad had enlisted into the U.S. Navy.
After graduated from high school, I was planning to go to college and now I am attending to Evergreen. To me, learning always come first because I believe that after a journey of learning, later on, I can apply the education to my career. College is here as a tool to help me get to a place in my life. Most of people tend to ask ”Why do you go to college?”. Well, a bachelor degree is higher than the high school diploma.
Growing up in a small, farming town has made me the person I am today. 4-H is a way for children to become active in their small communities. It has been a part of my life since I was little. 4-H has taught me many important lessons in life. As the current president and reporter of my club, I have to be organized, responsible and a leader.

It is important to have goals because it can focus my acquisition of knowledge, and helps you to organize your time and resources to make the most of your life. Some examples include getting a job, having a family, being a successful business person, becoming famous, etc. It is also important to have goals because it can motivate you and keep you active. One important goal for me is to go to college so I can have a good education, become more social, and find something I want to do when I grow up.
Why a College Education Is Important To Me? College is one of my biggest dreams I hope to overcome. I want to be the first child in my family to go to college. It means so much to my family that I go to college, but it means even more to me.
