Imagine its a hot a sunny day. All you want to do is kick back in a beach chair and drink the icy, sugary drink, known as soda. As you take a sip, you think, “Ahhhh. This is nice.” But in life, there is a lot of commotion going on about the different opinions on soda. In New York, they are actually debating on whether or not to ban the tasty drink. A lot of people decide to go in favor of the ban, while others became outraged by the idea of soda being theirs, no more. Despite some people may say it causes health issues, there are still many ways that putting the ban in place, will hurt businesses that make profits from soda, won’t apply to all places, and plus, people are able to make their own decisions whether or not they want to drink soda. …show more content…

This is saying that businesses that are based off of soda will actually stop making money. In the outcome, people would end up having to find new jobs and careers. In second thought, some people relate soda companies to tobacco companies, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. If comparing soda companies to tobacco companies, you're just basically saying that a lot of people are just addicted to the tasty drink. And when being addicted to something, you get more and more, therefore having to buy it. This gains the businesses profits they need in order to become successful.
