Everyone wants peace. No one wants war, bloodshed, and death. Peace is something everyone wants but no one is willing to work for it. You could sit there and talk about peace all day, but when the time comes to actually stand up and make a change people run and hide because it is scary. In the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare two teenagers from different families fall in love, which leads to their untimely deaths because one person was trying to make peace between the two families by marrying the kids. Friar Lawrence is the reason Romeo and Juliet died, he married the kids in secret, did not speak up when he knew Capulet was trying to marry Juliet to Paris and when he ran away after he found Romeo and Paris dead after Juliet wakes up. Romeo is dead, Paris is dead and the Friars whole plan has gone bad. Friar says to Juliet ¨Stay not to question, for the watch is coming/Come, go, good Juliet. I dare stay no longer¨ (5.3.58-59). Friar gets worried and is trying to convince Juliet to come with him and he will take her to his cell, then move her to a nunnery, Juliet says no. Juliet decides that she can't live without Romeo so she pulls out his dagger stabs herself and then dies. Friar is caught leaving the tomb by the watchmen and gets taken in for questioning. Friar tells the Prince and the Captain of the Watchmen ¨And here I stand, both to impeach and purge/Myself condemned and myself excused¨ (5.3.226-227). Friar is like look, I´ve made a huge mistake you can question me and punish me but Iḿ already doing it to myself, and now I'm going to tell you what happened. We as readers never find out what happens to the Friar, but he should be punished. He let to young teenagers get married and try and run away together. Due to Friars naivety young Romeo and Juliet end up
