What is More Important Brains or Brawns?

What do you think? That mental strength or physical strength is more important, or are they both just as important as the other. I feel that brains and brawns are both a big part of an athletic career, so if you wanted to be a professional athlete you would have to have mental power and physical strength. In Why We Run and Confession of a Doper this statement is proven.

For one, in Why We Run the author states “our minds as much as our lungs and muscles, are a vital that empowers are running” (68).
