One is alive today because the parents took responsibility for him during their pregnancy and this should be considering by all people before they make the decision to get pregnancy. Everyone should take responsibility for their behavior. Some people think that abortion is an easy way to avoid having a baby. It is most dangerous thing for each and every one of our mothers. Abortion is the termination of pregnancy; it is the removal of the fetus before it is viable. It is usually done before the fetus gets to 25 weeks old. This scenario has been fueled by many social and economic factors. In developed countries, abortion is legal whereas most developing countries do not encourage and permit abortion. This brings about the differences in safe and unsafe abortions. Abortion accounts for over 70,000 maternal deaths worldwide. Abortion has a long history. In 1960, traditional methods included using crude causing physical trauma. Abortion and childbirth complications have been the leading causes of maternal deaths the worldwide. With the coming of the 21st century, maternal deaths have declined. This has been attributed to education on family planning as well as the use of contraceptives. Many of the mothers across the country regret their abortion and voice to society that abortion must stop and should be laws about restricting abortion. The current laws cause suffering rather than preventing mothers from getting abortion. Other mechanisms that control abortion include the legal and religious aspects of society. Providing the necessary support in the form of financial aid and psychological support to mothers contemplating abortion could serve as the best way to curb such deaths resulting from abortion. Voluntary pregnancy termination remains wrong no matter how a woman gets pregnant. Taking 9 months out of a woman’s life does not remotely compare to the elimination of 80 years of someone else’s. In addition, the responsibility a woman takes for deciding life or death of a baby remains unethical and mentally devastating no matter what type of upbringing she had. This type of education can come from pastoral influence, government programming, or strong support systems composed of family and friends.
