Early Life: William Shakespeare was born either on or before April 23, 1564 in the tiny town of Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon which is in the country England. No one really knows the exact date of his birthday. 3 days after his birthday on April 26, 1564, Shakespeare was baptized, this is the 6th year Queen Elizabeth I was in reign of England (Britannica School, Encyclopedia Britannica). At four years of age he attended school, and at 6 years of age he went to the local free grammar school (Teague 16). Family: William’s father is John Shakespeare and his mom’s name is Mary Shakespeare. John made leather gloves, belts, purses, aprons, and fleeces, which he sold after making. That’s not all John did, he also traded farm goods, worked in the Stratford government, and served as a mayor.He was the third child out of the total of eight children.
