The author I’ll be writing about William Shakespeare the man who wrote famous poetry such as Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, Macbeth and many other novels and plays. William Shakespeare is known for many things such as famous plays of Romeo and Juliet, and not giving stories happy endings. In my opinion Shakespeare is a great author. It was known that Shakespeare lived from April 26, 1564, to April 23, 1616. He was also known for having one wife, one daughter, one set of twins even though one of them died. Having one of your kid’s die sucks but back then it was pretty normal sense there was no doctors no medicine or other healing items. William Shakespeare was a great author, playwright, and a businessman so it seems like his life was great.

The way Shakespeare became an author starting when the theater was shut down to to the spread of the bubonic plague (AKA the black plague) so to keep his fame going he turned his plays that he planned to do into novels. Thats a way to keep yourself relevant when you can’t do the thing you do then do the same thing in paper and sell it to people. In my opinion sadly the novels shakespeare released were two erotic novels named Venus and Adonis, and The Rape of Lucrece. Okay I get it you have to books to release to the public but in my opinion love novels are just bad as there such a cliche That’s what happened the whole theater shut down do to the spread of the black plague and Shakespeare made two books that were erotic
