William Shakespeare By far one of the greatest poets and writers, William Shakespeare has touched the hearts of many people. Even today, his contributions to writing still influence people throughout the world. So read along and learn about this man’s life, his famous work, his greatest achievements, and some interesting facts along the way.
William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in England, where he grew up to be a clever child. In his family of five, he was the youngest, but that wasn’t an issue. Where his his inspiration for writing began. He the attended King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon, where he began career as a writer. Shakespeare also experienced many hardships in his road to excellence. These hardships included family trouble, issues with european revenue, and criticism among his work. These hardships were major impacts on his ideas and goals, but even though these hardships were rather nerve racking to him, he still managed to overcome them and eventually resolve them.
During his career, he wrote many poems that are still remembered today poems like, “O mistress Mine” and “Blow Blow Thou Winter Wind” are what made him who he became. He is also recognised for his thirty-seven amazing plays. He is responsible for writing many plays in drama, plot twisting plays, and romantic plays. Many of his most famous plays include, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Hamlet.” These amazing works of art are the major backbone of Shakespeare’s long career of writing. For instance, in his play, “Romeo and Juliet,” two lovers are held back by the hatred of their families toward each other and are forbidden to see each other. With this, the girl fakes to take her life for a chance to see her beloved. This plan turns out to fail because before she can see him, he had already taken his life to see her in the heavens where she was presumed to be. After finding her lover dead, she takes her life to see him in the heavens and be with him for all eternity.
In “Hamlet,” an already depressed prince Hamlet get taken from school having to attend his father’s funeral. At the funeral he learns that his mother had already remarried, and his uncle had married the queen. Most of Shakespeare's plays were focused around getting the audience's attention. They instantly became tremendously famous among many people. And as you can tell, everyone loved to watch these amazing, heart warming, romantic, and suspenseful works of art.
