On April 23, 1564 a baby boy by the name of William was born to the couple by the name of John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. William was the oldest child in the family, he had three younger brothers and one younger sister. John Shakespeare worked as a leatherworker until William was five then he worked his way up to be the town bailiff much like a mayor (Basics, par. 3). Williams’ mother was just a housewife who would clean and take after the kids during the day, and cook for her husband when he got home. Shakespeare did not have the ability to solve the problems of everyday life, but he did have the ability to put them into words for people to understand. William spent his last two or three years on earth writing about how to live a peaceful and fulfilling life, which he did himself. William grew as a writer as the older he got and by trial and error in his work of a poetic writer (Shakespeare’s Theater, par 3). The beauty of his effect of the romantic love and joy of life and the collection of his work, are equally and comprehensive to his representation of characters. In Shakespeare’s writings the female heroes were just as important as the male heroes. Shakespeare was a true practical dramatist. His characters, although not so important at times, are often present in the plays, not to be real, but in order to add laughter. Even in the case of the leading actors, just as in the treatment of an accident, he is always ready to sacrifice truth to add dramatic effect. But these things are only the product of all professional playwriting and of all art. After all, how fun would it be to go see a play where there was no dramatic affect and
