When you think of what makes America great, most people wouldn’t think of any particular place or location. There are many things that make the United States an amazing place whether it be the diverse culture or the opportunities to build a healthy and sustainable living. I who started my adventure here in the states as an immigrant who only recently became a citizen in 2015 have had the chance to live in many different cities like Atlanta and New York before my parents decided to make Pennsylvania our permanent home. Which gave me the honor and opportunity to experience the city that is Philadelphia. Touted as the City of brotherly love, when here is all that one could feel. I've interacted with different classes but one thing that was certain was the passion and pride for the city regardless of the location, suburban or city based. When I was in 12 grade in “Gymnasium” the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series and baseball fan or not the city had experienced something truly special and the closest memory to that during my time in Pennsylvania was the 2004 Super Bowl run with MacNabb Westbrook and T.O among many other amazing athletes. I think everyone felt that loss and if you count the years, a generation or two has passed before the Eagles became the team that they are today. I think there are some similarities to the current state of our country. A popular slogan around town is to “Trust the process” and when you think of a team who never won the super bowl only to come so close and fail encapsulates the situation we are in as citizens of this country. We are all the underdogs trying to fight a good fight while inspiring those along the way. This Super Bowl win was something the city deserved but more than that a message to what being that underdog is in the face of an impossible opponent, a dynasty that is not exactly friendly with the
