I felt that the presentation was very thorough about the different techniques that are used in advertisement, promoting, or campaigning. They also did a lot of research for the video, which was good because the video left me very informed.
I felt like this documentary really showed me the persuasion techniques they use when creating advertisements.

One of the most astonishing is probably that you really must upsell a product for people to want it. Even if the description is 40% like the actual product, and the audience will buy it because of the description, then they will use the description.

I have always taken advertisements with a grain of salt, but I would go to an opening party or event based on a campaign for a company. For example, I would go to the Song airlines event. Since Song airlines is from parent company, Delta airlines, they (Song airlines) also presented their airline as fancier flying to make it more appealing than other airlines. How so?

They mentioned that adjectives such as cleaner, brighter, stronger, and better are ear drawing words to an advertisement. Also, if your advertising a product, it can’t just be the product an example is “A polaroid is not just a polaroid, it it’s a social lubricant.” It must have that exciting title because it makes people interested in not just what the product does, but what it can do for you and your
