Did you know that employment equality is a law which legislates against prejudice based actions in the workplace? As a minority, I am interested in employment equality even when it comes to application or interview I went on. Today with most companies some individuals have a hard time getting the jobs they want. Many problems as to equal pay, equal treatment, sexual orientation, as we know males get more money than a female tend to have more skills more power on a job than females. These problems discourage women by that we want equal pay as men, in 1963 women made 53 cents less compare to male, not only the lack of pay still occurs now. For example, in the article I read on equal pay “Women Can’t Wait Until 2059 For Equal Pay”. Interesting title describes that April 12 symbolizes equal pay day were women have the advantage to catch up their earning with males during that year. The American Association of University of Women studies show what they call the pay gap between different women with different races earnings compare to a white Caucasian male earning but the male still make more. To my attention, the article also describes how women who been in a four-year college who are recent graduates have a hard time paying their debit off even if there working in full time position or part time. Will only pay their college debt by 10 percent which is not a lot. I am a college student this concerns me because many college students like myself will be having debt to pay off from school will we really have to wait until 2059 to pay are debt off is just insane. From 2016 to 2059 will be 43 years’ women like me will have to wait to eventually pay are debts off it have to be something we can do or a better payment plan for us to pay are student loan debit
