9H Level-Course: Many Of My Skills And Interests

A 9H level-course contains many of my skills and interests. There are many things that the class and I can gain from each other. I believe a 9H level-course will benefit me more than any other level.

My skills and interests directly tie into what would be taught in a 9H level-course. Reading and writing that are considered more complex and require attention to break down, are not only things I happen to enjoy, but are also what is to be expected in a honors level-course. I enjoy reading as a fun pastime and hobby. Reading-based assignments such as paragraph assessments and essays are something I put a lot of effort into. Like the 8th grade assignments based on books such as Look Both Ways, The Giver, and Nothing But The Truth, are always fun

Higher level classes can help improve my writing skills and expand my creativity. A 9H level-course can help me improve my writing by producing lengthier writing assignments. There, I can learn new ways to improve my writing. These improvements not only help strengthen my skills, but also learn new ones at a higher level. For a lower level course, the skills that are taught might not be useful to me as either I have already learned it or it does not help me build a better writing style. Along with improving my writing, it can also expand my creativity. An honors class can challenge me with harder writing assignments. By doing this, I can try different ideas. The exercises that are being taught can also help push me out of my comfort zone, and try new skills that I have not seen. All in all, this experience can help me find a different style of writing that I enjoy and will use in the future to continue building my writing skills. In a class where other students have similar ambitions to me, it can make sharing ideas and feedback more helpful to myself and others. When sharing a class with other writers who are also looking to better their skills, it’s easier to share ideas with each other. Many can be open to my suggestions and actually incorporate them into their writing. Though the writing may be independent, the feedback shared can still be helpful when writing. Not only can I help others, others can help me in turn. I’m very passionate about my writing, and when others understand my thoughts, it can make sharing ideas more insightful.
