I believe the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science, and the Arts is the right place to continue my studies, because I love how the classes are based on the U of A academic system and that ASMSA offers an opportunity to obtain advanced college level knowledge before high school graduation. That being said, ASMSA still has a college life atmosphere which I think prepares the students to be more adjusted to what real college will be like. I also enjoy the fact that your professors are eager to help at almost any given time. On top of that, ASMSA will teach me viable skills like researching skills, time management skills, and self-discipline, also it will give me the great privilege of graduating with at least 30 concurrent hours which will
For Mid-Year 2017, I have provided significant support to APM in the area of contract administration. I am a NQ-02 Contract Specialist performing similar contract administration tasks as performed by higher-graded staff. I have demonstrated my ability to meet this SPO at the highest level through my use of technical expertise to accomplish contract award transactions to assist NNSA Mission and Mission Support program representatives in placing business instruments that help achieve the programs mission’s goals of efficient, cost effective procurement of supplies and services. For example, as the specialist, I have been successful in planning, soliciting and awarding of assigned contract actions, including completion of all component steps
After graduating from UC Merced, I will continue to be a loyal supporter to the university and to the students who will remain. I will come back to UCM and offer many opportunities for students to be able to succeed and to further expand their skills for their future careers. These opportunities will include internships and jobs, that will help them develop professionally. I will also continue to carry the pride of being a Bobcat with me by providing a positive message about the school. I will promote UCM and advocate for it so that other people could be aware of the great things that it has to offer and so that more college-bound students can enroll.
Alabama School of Mathematics and Science is a riveting high school that I would love to become a student of. I believe that I deserve an opportunity to enroll because I wish to prepare for my future as best as I can, I have an interest in the school’s courses and activities, and ASMS provides a better learning experience than my current school. I know that ASMS would greatly prepare me for my future. I wish to attend college and medical school to become a psychiatrist, and ASMS would ready me for the hardships of both. It would also give me the chance to explore my options to see if that really is the path I wish to follow for my career.
As an individual, I have always aimed to achieve superior accomplishments. Admission to the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA) is one of such primary goals I hope to attain in my high school years. There will be so many new opportunities that unfold with acceptance to a school of such a high caliber. I will gain positive characteristics, which will allow me to take bigger strides to become more successful in life. Not only will I profit from attending this school, but I will also contribute to and enhance the school with a richness that is special to me.
I began my education at Stephen F. Austin State University, which was founded as a teacher’s college in 1923. That is why I chose SFASU because I wanted to teach children, plus I wanted to concentrate on teaching them to read. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education and Generic Special Education in 1985. I concentrated on working with the at-risk population and began my journey as an educator in January 1986. I quickly realized that I had a thirst for knowledge and set a goal to continue my education until one day I would receive my doctorate in education.
My admission to the Coast Guard Academy Scholars Program at Marion Military Institute (MMI) has provided me the exceptional academic opportunity to prepare me for success at the Academy this fall. MMI has emphasized the importance of skills such as teamwork, communication, and time-management in its curriculum. I consider these core competencies to be vital to be an effective future cadet and commissioned officer. By stressing the importance of teamwork and communication during my orientation and academic study, my fellow classmates and I forged a strong, collegial bond that will endure through the Academy and our future careers as officers. Learning the importance of teamwork and interpersonal communication helped us become more comfortable with our roles and responsibilities confiding with each other to help improve our team performance.
Being a leader in HBSA is a great privilege and it will be a great honor to become one in future semesters. I am so passionate and will love to find an objective more important than myself and engage with other people in a reciprocal manner trusting that all I have is what I give. I am one year away from graduation and I will love that people remember me as a person who have the perfect amount of respect for other people, the right amount of strength to handle what you need to, the right amount of drive and determination and more importantly, I want to be a leader that cares about people and what they want and someone who is not selfish but generous. Having the opportunity to be a leader for the family that HBSA is means a lot to me. It means
As a result, I chose to double major in Biomedical Science and Global Health. I know these majors will prepare me for a career in the medical field. I hope to continue to thrive at ASU in these programs. As an undergraduate at ASU, I hope to continue doing meaningful research.
I would like to be apart of ASB because I’m interested in helping Medea be the best school it can be. I always like to learn new things and I will appreciate new experiences learning from seventh and eighth graders. I am responsible and I am excited for my leadership skills to be tested. Also, I will gain more responsibility and learn more leadership skills throughout my time in ASB. As part of ASB, I will be able to work with other students who have similar interests and want to be fellow leaders at Medea.
I immigrated to the United States in the year 2005. Since then, I have served in positions with progressively increasing responsibilities across for-profit and non-profit organizations. I attribute my career growth, in part, to my commitment toward lifelong learning. I am currently pursuing specialization certificate in data sciences offered jointly by Coursera and Johns Hopkins University.
The advances in technology have made a significant impact on teaching methods and pupil engagement over the years and I am confident that, as this advancement shows no signs of stopping, it will continue to do so. Therefore, as an individual who is passionate about educating the next generation; I believe that this SCITT programme will provide me with the skills and knowledge to provide an interactive and focused learning environment for students. IT provides a solid platform to engage with pupils across multiple curriculums and allows children to explore, question and research subjects independently and as a group. Further, my long term aspiration is to build upon the work experience I have gained within the educational sector and to utilise
I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.
When the edTPA program was first introduced to me at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, it seemed like a daunting task and I wondered what I had gotten myself into. Just thinking about student teaching gave me anxiety due to the myriad of tasks required by the edTPA program and the confusing academic language that described them. For the past several months, I have been preparing myself for this huge undertaking that I know I must face.
In the beginning of the semester, I was unsure of what I wanted to do with my life. I was an exploratory major, but had Media Arts and Science in mind. As time went on, I drifted away from that path because I would have had to transfer to IUPUI in the spring semester, and that was something I did not feel ready to do at all. As the semester continued, my interest in my American Sign Language (ASL) class began to grow.
