The Mis Education on ADHD
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD, is a condition that results in simple distractibility, Impulsiveness, and for some individuals, significantly increased activity levels. Moderate to extreme, levels of the disorder are accompanied by poor school performance. Academic problems encompass poor reading comprehension, difficulty completing tasks, and not turning in work on time or at all. Educators should be given access to educational services for children with ADHD, because it would improve classroom success for children with ADHD.

Consideration deficiency/hyperactivity issue (ADHD) is connected with less than stellar scores, poor perusing and math government sanctioned test scores, and expanded evaluation maintenance (Loe, Feldman, 2007). Children with ADHD have difficulty completing tasks associated with the classroom and often fall behind with schoolwork and underachieve, which often leads to difficulty completing tasks, which also leads to students forgetting instructions and fail to complete homework projects and assignments. For example a teacher will notice the child that stares out the window, the child who cannot sit still and not able to concentrate on any particular subject, which their behaviors take time away from instruction and disrupts the whole class. Often, teachers initiate the referral for an ADHD assessment because the structured school environment means that children with problems of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity exhibit behaviors with which the other children and their teachers cannot cope (Beryl, Nicolette, & Kelvin, 2015). As of 2001 Elementary and Secondary Education Act renamed No Child Left Behind Act. This Act holds states and schools more accountable for student progress. The school experience can be challenging for students who are not experiencing a disability or disorder, so just imagine how challenging it can be for a student living with ADHD. Keeping a child on task who has ADHD can help a child complete school work assignments in a timely manner. “The likelihood of new graduates teaching a child diagnosed with ADHD early in their careers is high” (Anderson, Watt, Noble, & Sanley, 2012 pg 511).
