Adnan Syed
On January 13, 1999 Hae lee a high school student went missing. She was strangled in her car. She was later found buried in Leakin Park. They had arrested Adnan Syed the ex-boyfriend they convicted him of murdering Hae lee and gave him 6 to life in Jail. He’s still in till this day. There was not enough evidence to convict him. My first reason was they had one witness his name was Jay he said he “Helped bury the body.” Jay said Adnan is guilty, but his story of that day does not match up its very inconsistent with the times. Secondly, Adnan Syed say that is was just a normal day to him. Nothing out of the ordinary happened that day. Lastly, there wasn’t enough witnesses that heard Adnan was leaving with Hae that day.
There is not enough evidence to convict him of that murder. Primarily, because the only witness they have on Adnan is Jay. Many people have their droughts on Jay people believe he killed Hae Lee. Jay said in episode 4: Inconsistencies column 11 it says “In the first taped statement, Jay says he refused to help dig a grave for Hae. Two weeks later, he says they both dug the hole.” When Jay

As a matter a fact there is a witness that says Hae was with her after school. Her name is Summer, Summer was not very close friend with Hae but they would talk once in a while. In Episode 9: To be Suspected column 3 Sarah says” Summer remembers talking to Hae after school in the gym are there, the wrestlers were milling around, summer was preparing the equipment they had to load into the bus and Hae came to say “I’m not getting on the bus to the math, but ill see you there.” Sarah also states “Summer says it wasn’t a quick conversation either-.. We were at least talking for at least 10 min.” Summer it saying that Hae was with her for more than 10 minutes after school. So there’s no way that Adan was with her at the time of the
