Who was Alexander the Great? Alexander the Great was a military leader, and politician who accumulated the largest empire of the ancient world in just thirteen years. By the age of sixteen he would already led his own army. Having better trained and organized troops, Alexander led his army to victory against Greeks proving he was not just a “mere boy”.
