Alexander the Great was born in 356 BC to Olympia and Phillip II the king of Macedon. At age 10, Phillip brought Alexander to buy a horse, the horse they found was wild and untamed, and Alexander then turned the horse around and rode him. By age 13, Alexander was being taught by Aristotle, the famous Philosopher, until he turned 16. In 338 BC Alexander led his father’s army to victory. In 336 BC Alexander’s father was assassinated by his bodyguard Pausanias, shortly after, Pausanias was killed. At 20 Years old, Alexander became the king. In 334 BC, Alexander Invaded Persia, he went to the city of Gordius Cut the Gordian knot, Defeated Darius, and Darius fled without his Wife, Mother or Daughters, but Alexander treated them with respected.
