In America, the institute of education is one of the major institutions that help to make a society function efficiently. One of the main purposes of the educational institution is for children to learn how to socialize amongst peers, and through that socialization to learn the rights and wrongs, and ways of how a society and its members function (University of Minnesota, 2016). Education as a major institution of society ensures every parent knows their child is safe, and every child should feel safe with the other members of the institution and have the same rights as the other members to learn how society functions. For years, the public school system educators have struggled to maintain updated curriculum and safety standards for their students. In today’s world, students can access unlimited knowledge through the internet. Most people in the world today have access to smart phones, tablets, or home computers that allow them to obtain valid, accurate information about any subject they want. But when it comes to the societal demands of sending our children to campus every day, funding can have an influential hold on a student’s ability to learn and feel safe. One study that was conducted, Closing America’s Education Funding Gap, concluded that most school districts in America experience a funding crisis (TCF Study Finds U.S. Schools Underfunded by Nearly $150 Billion Annually, 2020). Educational reformation of where and how tax dollars are allocated to the public school system could help to develop adequate funding which could make the administration and student populations feel safe while on campus, weaken the stress of the administration, and allow the families to feel safe when sending their children off to learn how to fulfill their societal
