This study gives a detailed statistics of young people in the society that have been involved in crimes and also been victims of crimes and ways in which they have been affected by it. It shows the percentage of Youth that went through maltreatment as children, physical abuse and

witnessed victimization. It also reviews the amount of these youths that were exposed to violence more than how adults were exposed and how it has affected the youth physically and mentally and have led to them committing crimes. This study showed the method that was used to get information from victims and the general result from the information they got and how the researchers were able to help the victims and find ways to prevent further crimes. The study examined the amount of student misconduct in both the school and community, how the size of the school affects the youths, their participation in school activities and their individual characteristics; age, gender sex and race, what they get themselves involved in when they have spare time. The study goes further to expatiate the influence of the community on children and how bad environment can lead to them turning out with the worst behavior.
