This article explains recent statistics about Canada's crimes going down, it also questions the false sense of security that Canadians have been hearing, that the crime rate is going down. The author provides fairly recent information and clearly states when created and updated. Information about herself is not stated other her name. The article has only one citation, to an official article that is from the same site but from a different section. This article was found in the opinion section of a reputable site (known from research about the site.) It gives the feeling as if it is stating facts if you do not pay attention to details. The author's information is not recent and you can not locate the author's name or a date when the article was published. At least one-quarter of the links the author provides are not available or not reputable sites. In the article, there are areas where it is not cited correctly or is missing a citation, as said in the article. In addition, there have been many warnings about using this site because it's unreliable and does not have clear sources, from other reliable sites.
