When understanding these parts of the culture, you can then know why they do the things they do. Saudi Arabia was once an underdeveloped desert country, is now the fifteenth largest global economy thanks to substantial oil and gas reserves and its place as the world’s leading producer of oil (kwintessential, n.d.). Saudi Arabia is one of the most religionist places for the Islam, has two of the holiest shrines Masjid al-Haram (The Sacred Mosque), is a large mosque in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia and the second largest in Islam. It surrounds the Kaaba, the place which all Muslims turn towards each day in prayer, considered by Muslims to be the holiest place on Earth (Masjid al-Haram – Kaaba, n.d.).
