Saudi Arabia is one of the holiest country’s in the world. It has its own unique religion and tradition. As of today, there are 1.1 billion people worldwide that are Muslims. Islam is the number one fastest growing religion in the world. “Studies have estimated that from 2010 to 2050, Muslims will have increased by 73%.” Said by scholars. The population of the world by 2050 is estimated to be 9 billion people, Muslims make up one-third of that. One way Saudi Arabia and America are different is religion. The United States of America is one of the well-known countries known for their constitution. One of the main right’s Americans have is freedom of religion. In Saudi Arabia, nearly all women cover their body from head to toe. The most frequently worn clothing that is seen in public is called the niqab. A niqab is a veil covering all appearance, except the eyes.
This is commonly worn with a loose black garment that covers from head to feet. Women wear this for religious and traditional reasons. Perhaps, in America women will wear simple clothing like a t-shirt, jean pants, or dresses. A lot of American women feel confident wearing revealing clothing in public. But little do they know; this little difference makes a huge impact on society. Plastic surgeons report in the year 2016 that Americans spent more than 16 billion dollars in cosmetic plastic surgeries.
