I've been at the entry level and I know what it's like looking at those at the top, thinking how can I be as delegate as them, however it takes a certain skill set to be on the top. In three words I would describe myself as having perseverance, having strong organizational skills, and having the ability to work well with diverse populations. One of my most important characteristics is the different diversity I have experienced while working at nonprofit agencies. I must admit that it is not an accident that I find myself driven towards the pursuing my Master’s degree at Hawaii’s Pacific University (HPU) in Human Resource Management (HRM). I have always enjoyed interacting with and helping people. I received my Bachelor of Science in social work because of the ability help meet the basic human needs of all people. I have worked with adolescents, adults and elderly in which I found that I was successful in helping each groups achieve work placement and co-facilitating trainings at a nonprofit agency. This led me to seek a career that can allow me to continue changing lives and make a difference in a managerial structure which has made me demonstrate an interest in Human resource Management. I have found myself extremely passionate in Hawaii Pacific University’s MAHRM and in learning all of the curriculum which is built around strategic management, workforce planning and employment, employee and labor relations. HPU’s vison is within my core values, which makes myself the epitome of what this vision means. HPU embrace values of the spiritual, ethical and philosophical principles which supports
