Marijuana In todays society there are roughly around 2,421,069 medical marijuana patients in the unted states alone. Medicinal marijuana is marijuana recommended by a doctor for a specif illness. The drug itself has many health benefits,few risks, and is way cheaper than generic medicines. The list of benefits is constantly growing larger and does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. With the increased benefits does it not seem like a great idea to take advantage of this drug? Marijuana can also reduce severe pain, stimulate the appetite, decrease anxiety, and even prevent Alzheimer’s disease. Medical marijuana can help out a lot with cancer. It can reduce the severe pain, reduce nausea from chemo therapy, and also slows and in some miracle cases stops cancer cells from spreading all together. The drug itself also stimulates the appetite for sick people or people who suffer from anorexia. The drug is officially legal for medical use in 20 states but the way marijuana has proven to work surely many more states will follow. The drug also helps with our veterans, such as treating cases of PTSD due to the war and also soothes tremors.
