Statement of Purpose
I am interested in the program provided by The University of Arizona Eller College of Management, as it is the perfect program that will help me achieve my dreams of helping others prosper when the odds are not in their favor. During the pandemic of Covid-19, I had a radical change in my perspective due to the death of my step-father (he died after covid-19 left several issues on him). I had to find a way to help my mother economically and emotionally, and to this day, she has recovered almost completely. And, this taught me that others may not be so lucky, as my work on FedEx was forgiving to me on those depressing days, and even helped me get up again from that dark time of my life. My academics and professional skills are not that impressive. However, it is always worth mentioning them because even the small details can create big changes if they are used for a bigger purpose. I finished my Associates degree in Political science and Spanish back in 2018 at Arizona Western College, where not only I learned about subjects at hand, but also learned skills such as project management, problem solving and planning, then, I had to work-study to finish my degree on administration of justice (I had to switch majors due to the lack of bachelors that Yuma had at the time). This led me to finish the last classes for the associate/bachelor while I was working under FedEx ground (which I'm currently working as of the time of this writing). Because, optimal work means better work for everyone and better results for the company and its clients (which creates a win-win situation for everyone). My long term goal is to be able to create help guidelines on multiple companies so more workers get to work easier while also creating a big development for the company itself. Therefore, creating an easier work condition so more people can work, study or work to achieve their goals just like I’m doing right now with the University of Arizona Eller College of Management. Because work-study is hard. But that doesn't mean that we cannot help future generations have an easier path than the one we have
