My intension to apply for a graduate program at the University of Arkansas is motivated by my goals to pursue a research career in the field of Mathematics. This field attracts me because of its widespread applications in various research fields and its excitement to study. I believe that a good background in foundation courses, as well as a complete awareness of recent developments is essential to start a professional career in this field. As a graduate student, I explored that University of Arkansas is best place to develop these professional and research skills. My country Nepal needs special attention particularly in this field since most of their work is more traditional.. After completion of this PhD degree in this field, I will work my home country and would like to dedicate myself in the research of Statistics and apply statistical methods to real-life data to address more important issues. I would love to join the research organizations, who actively work on statistical sectors. They really need manpower with strong academic and research backgrounds. I would also like to teach Statistics and Mathematics at university level and conduct some research on various sectors. I believe by building up a strong background and expertize training I can make my goal to be true. Because of wide ranges of applications in various research fields, my background, and my interest, I choose Statistics as my research interest fields. I found myself that University of Arkansas is the best place to develop a research career of my Interest. Towards considering my professional goals, I hope those experiences, background, as well as self-motivation will lead me to be a successful graduate student
