Anticipate what it will be like for you as a student at the University of Delaware. Both in and out of the classroom, where do you expect to feel most comfortable and where will you need to stretch?
As a student at University of Delaware I would hope to do extremely well in my classes and earn academic achievement in my field of study. I feel proficient in academics, but there are other areas where I wish to improve. My first concern or stretch would be in deciding my major. Although I find myself drawn to STEM courses, I am uncertain of which career path I would find most fulfilling. Ultimately, I hope the University of Delaware will provide counsel and assistance in making this decision.
Relate a personal experience in which you were denied an opportunity or treated unfairly. How did you resolve the situation? If that were to happen during your college experience, what would you do?
In life we are all faced with experiences where we were not treated fairly. One of these experiences was when I was in high school and I wanted to become a member of Leaders Club. Members participated on improving the school by supporting the staff and students, and also planning, organizing, and executing school

Upon inquiring of why I was not chosen, I found out that the other clubs I joined were on a point-value system and these clubs did not add up to the correct number of points I needed to be selected. I felt that since none of the freshman class was apprised of this point-value system that this was unfair, but I vowed that next year I would try again. Unfortunately, in the following year, the school administration changed hands and the criteria for the club again changed and the students were not notified.
