Leadership Philosophy My philosophy as a United Stated Non-commissioned officer (NCO) is to carry out the traditions of the Army. My dedication is to provide training, mentorship and coaching to those whom I serve with. My philosophy as a Human Resources (HR) professional is to carry out my duties in an expeditious and effective manner. My goal is to enforce the Army Regulation to ensure proper steps and procedures are followed at all times. Respect is my number one personal value. I will always demand respect from others and in return they will always have my respect. Being a leader in my dictionary is not the same thing as being an NCO. I will not be content with bear minimum. I will never be complacent as complacency is proven to kill lives and end careers. I will not rest on my reputation, but I will always build on it. I am human and as human it is inevitable to make mistakes. I will recognize when I am wrong, and I will learn from my mistakes. Team work is essential in life. In the Army team work is the key. I will always be part of the team. I will instill trust and confidence to those whom I serve with. I will always maintain constant communication with my seniors, peers and subordinates alike. It is my firm believe that everyone’s job, large or small, makes a contribution to our team and is vitally important to our success. Family is very important in my life. Our family and friends are vital parts of our lives and our team. We need their support. They deserve to know what we do as soldiers, what our job is, how important it is to the team, and what it means to be a soldier and a leader. We must educate them, get them involved in what we do and take care of them always. We will work hard to find ways that get our families and friends more involved in what we do.
