Their constant collision plus the father cheating on Ella with the babysitter finally resulted divorce, which was a huge part of Audrey’s childhood. Audrey felt a really big gap without her father’s love as her mother was very strict and had troubles expressing her love. Fascism is a political philosophy of the tendency of a right wing in the 1930s. Ella had far Jewish relatives and that could have possibly been how they were first introduced to fascism, which they ended up supporting because Hitler’s opinion was welcoming to the aristocrats of Europe, after being damaged from the Depression of 1929.
