There are many different barriers to diversity and inclusion. Some examples of the biggest barriers within diversity and inclusion are prejudice, culture, upbringing and religious beliefs. Prejudice is “an unfavourable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason” which can indicate such things as stereotyping or basing your opinion on another individual or groups view of a person or culture. Cultural barriers can be a lack consideration for someone’s spiritual beliefs, relationships or dietary needs. A cultural barrier is a wall between two people because of identity differences. Cultural barriers can include language barriers, service users might not let you wear your traditional cloths of their culture,
