The paramedics quickly park the the hospitals truck near the emergency entrance and take out the child immediately. They rush them through the double doors, the parents want to come with them to see what wrong with the their 3 year old daughter but the receptionist stops them and tells them they have to sit down and wait just like everyone else. The mother starts crying and the father tries to calm her, she starts crying even louder because she 's scared. As a child, I always pondered on what I wanted to become when I became older and in sixth grade I was determined to become a Pediatric Nurse. I believe that becoming a pediatric nurse is an opportunity to interact with patients, treat their illnesses or condition and is a job in which every day is different from the one before. Becoming a Pediatric Nurse is a way to interact with patients of all ages, I adore working with children and a pediatric nurse is someone who interacts with children on a daily basis. These nurses treat several illnesses and should not be intimidated because this could cause the patient to panic. Pediatric Nurses are to be encouraged in any situation and make the child feel secure and carefree. In my opinion, Pediatric Nurses should care for patients, have exceptional communication skills and should be vigilant. I myself consider myself to have these qualities and traits, I 'm loving and caring when it comes to children and helping these children recover from their illnesses would be an extraordinary career for myself in my opinion. Communication skills are required in this career and I adore communicating with individuals and It would be extraordinary to communicate with patients and their parents if they have any problems or questions. Lastly, being vigilant is an important requirement in this job, handling multiple tasks is extremely important because failing to achieve one could put someone 's life at
