Veterinarians This story thing is going to be about veterinarians and why I want to be a vet. It is going to be about the main responsibilities and duties, the education and the training you have to have, the salary, outlook and opportunities, pros and cons of the job, and also some ways you can see if this job is for you also I included some things I thought were interesting. The main responsibilities of being a veterinarian is that you need to be animal friendly. You have to know a lot of stuff about animals and how to take good care of animals and also some other stuff they should teach you in school. If you want to be a vet of course you have to go to college. Then when you graduate you must go to a veterinarian college. It is not as easy as you might think to get into a veterinarian college, good grades are very important. Science course such as biology and chemistry are also needed, it takes a lot of hard work to become a veterinarian. Veterinarians must have a lot of skills to be able to work with the animals they do. They need to have respect for the animals and their owners. A good vet has a calm, gentle, manner with people such as the workers and their patient and the owner of the patient. They must have good working with people. First is going to be the pros, some pros are the job security, variety, hands on work with animals, and job perks. Now I am going to tell you some cons on this job, some cons are stress, salary is sometimes low, long hours of work, risks of bad injuries. Also going to go over some of the interest that I like of this job that I like and some that I don't like. Some of the things I like are that I like is the salary and how high some of the checks would be. Also I like the fact that I get to work with animals, that I would hardly get to work with as anything else. Now we can go over some of the stuff I don't like about this job.
