tHave you ever dreamt of being a veterinarian? I have. At first I thought it would be easy. That all I needed to do is treat pets and care for them. But in order to do that, you need to go through many things to care for animals. There are many big steps to take in order to become a veterinarian. First the things are are expected from you to fulfill for the role is a 4 year college or university, communication skills, passion for animals, time management skills, quick decision making and compassion. For the 4 year college, after high school you must complete 2 to 4 years of pre-veterinary or science studies at college before applying to veterinary school.Once you are accepted by a veterinary school, it takes another 4 years of study to graduate with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
